Fix #1: Check for corrupt data:
·   From the HOME Menu, select "System Settings".
·   Scroll down the options on the left and select "Data Management".

·   Select "Check for Corrupt Data".

·   Make sure the Nintendo Switch console is connected to the Internet.
·   From the HOME Menu, select the icon of Fortnite game without starting it.
·   Press the "+" or "-" Button on your controller, then select "Software Update" à "Via the Internet".

Fix #3:  Restart the console:
Hold down the POWER Button for at least three seconds, then select "Power Options" then "Restart."
If the console is not responding, hold down the POWER Button for twelve seconds to force the console to shut down. Then power it on again.

·   Select the "System Settings" on the HOME Menu.

·         Format the microSD card.
